I donated in support of this campaign.
At MRI, we help our clients overcome obstacles everyday. Now it's your turn. We want you to help us overcome obstacles! How can you help? Well, I'm glad you asked!
So you're probably asking how all of this works. Good question! It's easy. Simply sign up for your own fundraiser at the top of this page. Once complete, share, share, share! Ask everyone you know to support the cause. Some helpful tips:
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Rachel Barter at 217-875-8850 or RBarter@maconresources.org.
The Goal: Our $50,000 goal is based around estimated costs to build a basketball court and other outdoor recreational activities in Meaningful Meadows. MRI wants to provide an inclusive space outdoors that encourages and inspires physical activity for all abilities.
Thank you for supporting MRI and the 800+ children and adults with disabilities we serve in our community. By creating your own fundraiser and collecting pledges, you are directly impacting the lives of our individuals and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good.
Before you start, take a minute to get to know some of the individuals you are helping:
Tony, a MRI Day Training participant, taught himself how to play the piano by ear (he's blind!) when he was just a kid. He now have a part time job entertaining the lunch crowd at the MRI Grill.
Carl, another Day Training participant, has a very caring heart and is always thinking about his friends at MRI. Carl recently received his CPR certification and thought it would be a good idea to get some new AED's in the building. Carl put in his request with Amy Bliefnick, MRI President and CEO, and because of Carl, MRI received a grant from St. Mary's for all brand new AED's throughout the building. Carl feels better knowing that if something happens, we have the latest technology to take care of his friends.
Before coming to MRI Independence Pointe, Elden was completely non verbal. After speech & language therapy, his mom explains, "you would never guess he was ever non-verbal."
Do you know someone who has been positively impacted by MRI's services? PLEDGE FOR THEM!
And last but not least, a huge thank you to our sponsors:
